The Katadyn BeFree Gravity line makes clean drinking water available without the need to pump.
The sleek, foldable filter system uses gravity to produce fresh, clean water. The EZ-Clean Membrane™ provides an extra fast flow rate of 2 litres per minute. The water passes through a hollow fibre filter that reliably removes bacteria, cysts and sediments with its pore size of 0.0001 mm.
Thanks to the viewing window, the water level in the filter bag is clearly visible. With the convenient carrying strap, the filled filter can be easily transported from the water source back to camp and hung in a nearby tree.
The outlet hose can be easily removed via a quick-release valve with automatic outlet stop, which prevents contact with contaminated water when refilling.
The capacity of the filter is up to 1000 litres, depending on the water quality. To clean the EZ-Clean Membrane™, simply shake or swish it in water.
Filtered water can be stored in a separate canister, bottle or water bag. The opening of the canister, bottle or bag for filtered water should be as small as possible to prevent dirt from entering.
If the filtered water is not used the same day, it can be safely and easily conserved with Katadyn Micropur.
