How exactly does this portable cooling solution work?

Compressor coolers typically offer a temperature range of around 10 °C down to -18 °C, with some models capable of cooling to as low as -22 °C. Even ambient temperatures of 40 °C are therefore no problem for these powerful appliances – all while keeping electricity consumption relatively low.

Depending on the model, these quiet coolers typically draw only around 30 to 50 W during cooling. They can also be operated using a suitable solar power system.

Another advantage: some models feature an LED display showing the battery level and temperature.

Pretty handy, right? The power connection and operating voltage of a cooler depend on the individual model. Depending on the version, models are available for 12 V and 24 V systems or for 100 – 240 V mains power.

Some can therefore be connected directly to your vehicle’s 12 V socket, while others require a 230 V mains socket. Want the flexibility of both power options? No problem. Some of our models can operate on both 12 V and 230 V. Curious to find out more?

Even if your motorhome does not have a 230 V connection, you can still keep food and drinks perfectly chilled with a 12 V compressor cooler. Simply connect one of these practical appliances to the 12 V socket in your car or camper, and you can enjoy fresh, chilled food and drinks wherever your journey takes you.

Particularly practical: some models even feature an integrated battery protection system. This automatically switches the cool box off if the vehicle voltage drops below a critical level, helping to prevent excessive battery discharge and ensuring your vehicle can still be started reliably.
