The mounting frame is made of corrosion-protected steel (single steps) or aluminium (double steps). Foot boards and side plates are made of anodised aluminium, edges are rounded. The end caps are made of black plastic. The step treads feature anti-slip foot boards, which can be easily replaced with older versions. Motor and gear wheels are housed in a box made of shock-proof plastic.
