The DTU dongle expands the M12 series batteries with a Bluetooth interface. It offers significant advantages over internal solutions, as it can be installed away from the battery for better transmission and reception performance. Only one dongle is needed for multiple batteries. This eliminates mutual signal interference, establishing a connection only with the app. The DTU is not necessary when using displays with Bluetooth.
