The regulators are ideal for gas boxes and small camping vehicles where space is limited. In the VW camper vans by Westfalia, the regulator with the L-shape was installed until 2005. For vehicles built since 2006, the regulator with the U-shape is used. Nominal flow: 0.8 kg/h.
U-shape: thanks to the U-shape, the transition to the hose is located at the base of the gas cylinder and therefore does not extend beyond the gas cylinder.
L-shape: thanks to the L-shape (90° angle), the hose is guided downwards and needs less space than conventional regulators.
For safety reasons, we recommend that the replacement of the consumer appliance and the pre-pressure regulator only be carried out by a specialist camping company.
According to DVGW Worksheet G 607 "Liquid gas systems in inhabited recreational vehicles and for residential purposes in other road vehicles – operation and testing", pressure regulators, among others, must be replaced no later than 10 years after the date of manufacture. If the operating pressure of the system is 30 mbar, a regulator according to EN 16129 Appendix D must be used when replacing the regulator in accordance with G 607. For liquid gas systems in vehicles with an operating pressure of 50 mbar, there is protection of the existing standard. There is no obligation to convert to 30 mbar.
