The very flat satellite system with a height of 14.5 cm hardly effects the overall height of the vehicle. New is the Bluetooth-compatible control unit, which serves as a connection to smartphone or tablet. With the free Megasat app – available for iOS and Android – the system can be controlled comfortably via Bluetooth. Firmware updates are possible via smartphone. Also optimised has been the changed base plate with which the system can be installed onto the new Mobil Kit (item no. 72 249). Thanks to this and the compact construction, the antenna can also be used on the way. It has an exceptionally large reception area and fully automatically aligns to the desired satellite. The Auto Skew function enables the best reception possible at all campsites in Europe, also the periphery of the footprint. The control unit is pre-programmed for 10 satellites (Astra 1, Astra 2, Astra 3, Astra 4, Hotbird, Thor, Hispasat, Türksat, Eutelsat 5 West, Eutelsat 9 B). The Traveller-Man 3 is equipped with 2 ports as a twin system.
