A minimally elasticated strap at the end of the storm strap replaces the spring that is often used, thus extending the functionality. With this system, you can not only protect against strong winds, but also stabilise the awning even in light winds by slightly pre-tensioning the system.
An extremely durable plastic component has been installed at the strap ends of the new Rathgeber storm strap to ensure a system load of at least 120 kg. At the same time, every peg is securely gripped, which guarantees absolute premium quality. Thanks to the integrated system-elasticated strap element, there is no need for the usual cord tensioners.
A universal component made of webbing and piping has been developed for the top fastening. This means that awnings from all manufacturers (with the exception of the WIGO-Rolli & Dometic PR 2500) can be easily attached using the piping. The remaining strap loop can be used in a variety of ways, for example for tea towels, T-shirts, fairy lights or hanging baskets.
This loop serves as the usual anchor point for the pole tips of canvas awnings and awnings. It is simply placed over the pole tip or tent pole, whereby the piping has no function in this case. This component therefore fulfils all requirements, so that no new purchase or additional accessories are required when changing the system.
