Grass cardboard
Solid cleaners by Groovy Goods are made of a mix of recycled paper and fresh fibre from grass. This combination creates significant added value: On the one hand, it is recycled, which is good for the environment. On the other hand, fresh fibre is usually sourced regionally, which is also very good for the environment. The grass cardboard is printed with compostable inks based on natural resins. Manufacturing the grass cardboard requires 2 litres of water, whereas manufacturing standard cellulose cardboard requires 6000 litres!
These sponge cloths are produced fairly and sustainably in Germany and are made of 70 % cellulose and 30 % cotton. They are printed with water-based ink, which is good for the environment. You can easily wash the cloths in the washing machine or in the top compartment of the dishwasher. As the cloths are 100 % compostable and completely decompose in 6 to 8 weeks, you can dispose of them in the compost.
