With the E-Trailer app and the specially developed sensors for retrofitting to any recreational vehicle, owners of caravans and motorhomes can always keep an eye on the condition of their holiday homes with their smartphone.
The E-Trailer solution consists of three elements: a central base station, the sensor modules for the respective tasks and the E-Trailer app on the smartphone. Only the base station needs to be connected to the 12 V power circuit of the caravan or motorhome. All other modules communicate wirelessly with the E-Connect base station.
To use the E-Track&Trace function and future sensor modules with internet-based remote access, an internet subscription is required, which can be taken out directly in the E-Trailer app at a price of 99.95 euros per year.
How much water is left in your fresh water tank? This question is answered by the E-Waterlevel module. A separate measuring rod, which indicates the fill level to the litre after calibration, is installed in the fresh water tank. You can then use the data displayed on your smartphone to fill the tank with exactly the required amount and prevent the tank from overflowing. At a threshold value that can be freely defined in the app, the system sends you an active water level notification before the tank is empty.
