Mobile Internet just like at Home – even while Travelling
Since 2020, ten Haaft has been developing highly specialised internet solutions for the motorhome market. Oyster® Connect was launched in spring 2021, followed by two further variants, Oyster® Access and Oyster®EasyNet, at the end of 2023. The purpose and aim of a permanently installed Oyster® Internet system is to make using the Internet in your recreational vehicle as natural and easy as it is at home. With the same familiar convenience.
What Makes Oyster® Internet Systems Stand out?
- The external antenna is not obstructed by the shielding walls of the vehicle body.
- The larger size of the LTE antennas (especially with Oyster® Connect and Oyster® Access) ensures much better reception of mobile signals.
- Once connected to the Wi-Fi of the Oyster® Internet systems, the end devices automatically connect to the hotspot.
- The Wi-Fi and internet access are always available, even at night or when you leave the vehicle unattended.

New Web Interface Features
- External Wi-Fi: If desired, your own Wi-Fi can now also be broadcast via the external antenna in a significantly wider radius around the vehicle. This Wi-Fi can also be configured as an isolated guest network with its own Wi-Fi name and password.
- Support for the WireGuard™ protocol (trademark of WireGuard LLC): Enables a free, secure VPN connection to compatible routers (e.g. Fritz!Box) – for protected internet traffic in public Wi-Fi networks.
