As with all products of Büttner Elektronik, the chargers are manufactured precisely according to their field of application.
Optimum charging is guaranteed by state-of-the-art IUoU charging characteristics combined with long-term activation and AGM/gel/LiFePO4 acid battery switching. This ensures unsupervised charging with automatic battery regeneration during longer periods of not using the caravan or in the winter. All devices can be connected in parallel to already existing chargers to increase the charging capacity and are protected against short-circuit, overload, reverse polarity, etc. A voltage regulation is integrated and ensures sufficient charging capacity even with weak or unstable power grids. The control panel with display options and night-mode switch can be removed and mounted inside the vehicle as a remote control (additional cable extension available).
From series MT 1240 onwards, a second main charging output is integrated. This makes charging independently operating battery banks possible. These units also come with a 3-step switch that can be used to reduce the input power in weakly fused locations. All MT chargers are supplied with a battery temperature sensor to optimise charging performance.
