Equipped with a mounting frame made of corrosion-protected steel (Single Steps) or aluminium (Double Steps), the tread and side panels of the step are made of anodised aluminium, the edges and angles are rounded. The end caps are made of black plastic. All steps provide Anti-Slip step treads, these can be exchanged easily at older versions. With the electric version, engine and gears are stored in a box made of shock-resistant plastic.

Step is operated with a switch, the extracting and retracting with a 12 V motor.
