This temperature sensor is perfect for charging batteries in changing or extreme ambient temperatures. For optimal charging, Dometic PerfectCharge MCA-TS1 adjusts the charging voltage to the battery temperature. In high temperatures, the charging voltage is reduced to prevent battery gassing. In lower temperatures, it is increased to guarantee that the battery is charged completely.
