This system includes an innovative digital interior mirror and a high-resolution HD camera. It has been designed specifically for vehicles without rear windows. It provides a clear, delay-free view of rear traffic, regardless of load, body type, or vehicle type, ensuring a safe and comfortable driving experience, even in large motorhomes, vans, or commercial vehicles. Equipped with a 9.6” (24 cm) digital display, the CSM9600 delivers a crystal-clear image in 1080p HD quality (25 FPS), providing a driving experience similar to that of a car. Operation is as intuitive as a smartphone: simple swipe gestures allow you to switch between camera images and adjust the viewing angle seamlessly. Practical function keys also allow quick access to important settings, making the system easy to use even for users who are not tech-savvy. The digital interior mirror can be flexibly expanded – front, side or underbody cameras can be integrated via 3 additional camera inputs (AHD, HD-TVI, CVBS). The camera inputs are triggered automatically, ensuring that the corresponding image is displayed as soon as reverse gear is engaged. A 15 m camera cable allows flexible installation even in larger vehicles. Parking lines are also available for orientation when manoeuvring. Thanks to the integrated monitor mount, the CSM9600 can be easily installed on existing brackets. Suitable mounting solutions for vehicles without factory-fitted brackets are available as an option. The Caratec Safety CSM9600 is ECE R-10 certified, meeting all current safety and environmental requirements. Ideal for anyone who does not want an additional monitor on the dashboard, this system combines state-of-the-art camera technology, simple operation and maximum safety – for unrestricted visibility and relaxed driving in every situation.
