This system includes an innovative digital interior mirror and a high-resolution HD camera and was developed specifically for vehicles without rear windows. It provides a clear, delay-free view of rear traffic – regardless of load, body type or vehicle type – ensuring a safe and comfortable driving experience, even in large motorhomes, vans or commercial vehicles. Equipped with a 9.6” (24 cm) digital display, the CSM9600 delivers a crystal-clear image in 1080p HD quality (25 FPS), providing a driving experience similar to that of a car. Operation is as intuitive as a smartphone: simple swipe gestures allow you to switch between camera images and adjust the viewing angle continuously. Practical function keys also allow quick access to important settings, making the system easy to use even for users who are not tech-savvy. The digital interior mirror can be flexibly expanded – front, side or underbody cameras can be integrated via 3 additional camera inputs (AHD, HD-TVI, CVBS). The camera inputs are “triggerable”, so that, for example, when reverse gear is engaged, the corresponding image is automatically displayed. A 15-metre-long camera cable allows flexible installation even in larger vehicles. Parking lines are also available for orientation when manoeuvring. Thanks to the integrated monitor mount, the CSM9600 can be easily attached to existing mounting brackets; suitable brackets for vehicles without factory mounting are available as an option.
