Darkening System REMIfront
The custom-fit darkening solution for the driver's cabin protects from prying eyes into the vehicle thanks to perfect darkening while increasing the usable living area inside the motorhome significantly. The multi-layered construction of the darkening material reduces the heating up or cooling down of the vehicle. The installation is very easy: the divided front blind is fixated to the securing points on the A-pillar provided by the manufacturer. By means off a tube system, the blind is guided to the centre of the windscreen, the reversing mirror can remain in place. The side parts, with their pleated material are screwed into the door frames and guided by rods and profiles. When closed, the pleated material is concealed by a profile and is hardly visible. In addition, the front blind features a security locking system which prevents the front part from opening accidentally while driving. The sturdy, high-quality darkening system is maintenance-free and features a highly light-proof pleat. It easily adjusts to potential manufacturing tolerances of the vehicle and ventilation openings are not covered. REMIfront can (if not mentioned otherwise) not be used in vehicles with rain sensors, light sensors, a storage compartment underneath the roof or airbags within the A- or B-pillars or above the doors.
Suitable in design and construction for Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper built since 07/2006 with grey or beige interior. From model year 2019, the Fiat Ducato will be delivered with a new housing for the sensor package on the rear-view mirror. For this purpose, a new front part with adapted cut-out for the sensor package with housing shape 2 has been developed (item no. 87 234).
