The Thermacell MR-BP Backpacker has been specially designed for camping and outdoor adventures, providing effective mosquito protection where conventional methods fall short. Using proven Thermacell technology, this handy device creates a protective zone of approximately 15 square metres, repelling up to 98% of mosquitoes and similar insects – all without spray or lotion on the skin.
The active ingredient, Eucalyptus Citriodora, is released via repellent pads that are heated by a mini butane gas heater with piezo ignition. There is no open flame, making operation particularly safe and comfortable. The pleasant citrus scent also ensures a fresh environment.
The lightweight device operates with standard threaded gas cartridges (not included), making it ideal for use on the go while camping, hiking or travelling. An initial supply of three repellent pads providing up to 12 hours of protection is already included.
