The Thermacell M-48 refill pack was specially designed for the MR-BP-Backpacker device and consists of 12 active ingredient pads with PT-19 Eucalyptus Citriodora – sufficient for 48 hours of insect protection. The Backpacker uses its own gas cartridges, so that the refill pack contains only the active ingredient mats, each effective for up to 4 hours. The active ingredient mats are shelf-stable and do not need to be used immediately. Unused mats come in airtight packaging to maximise their shelf life.
