The rear compartment cannot be ventilated through the windows: this results in air/heat buildup. With the Air-Safe, the tailgate can be quickly and easily held open by about 10 cm and still locked. Air-Safe is made of stainless steel (V2A) and is simply hooked into the lower locking bracket, thus "extending" the original lock. Air-Safe is available in two versions – suitable either for vehicles with or without soft-close assistance. Using a FLYOUT tailgate mosquito net at the same time ensures a night free of biting mosquitoes.
