Blade seals of toilet cassettes become porous over time and should therefore be replaced regularly. To do this, simply remove the blade cover plate and pull the covers of the guide rails upwards. Then remove the screws and the cover plate to gain access to the blade seal. Remove the old blade seal, clean the area, insert the new blade seal with the thin flange side down and screw the cover plate back in place. Finally, spray the seal with a little Vaseline spray.
To slightly delay wear, simply clean the blade seal occasionally with a damp cloth.
