The approved awning tent Safari Residence presents the third generation with a new design. It consists of 2 single side panels and one front panel in neutral colour (RAL 9002). The window foils integrated in the side panels are equipped with mosquito nets and can be opened completely. The front panel (for lengths of more than 3.5 m) has a door on the left and on the right side and can be rolled up partly or completely. Thanks to the integrated fixation rail, the front can be combined very comfortably e.g. with a sun blocker. By means of a clamping profile the side panels are connected to the awning fabric. Front and sides are connected by a double piping profile – a strong and wind resistant connection. A height adjustable mast profile equipped with double rubber sealing, into which the side panels piping profile is slid in, is pressed to the vehicles side and perfectly seals this section. Additional stability is achieved by a diagonal support between the clamping and the mast profile. Thule Residence is available in 6 different heights (see table) for vehicles with straight sides. In case of an awning mounted straight above the vehicle's entrance, special side panels for combination with a higher front section with less roof pitch can be ordered via special order. All special orders have approx. 4 – 6 weeks delivery time. Delivery includes transport bags and vehicle apron.

Front panel design
The design of the front panel varies depending on the awnings length without making a compromise in brightness or comfort. Larger and smaller front panels are combined. All front panels, even those with large panorama window, can be rolled up completely. The smaller front panels are used as entrance.
