Oyster® Internet Systems
Mobile Internet just like at Home – even while Travelling
Since 2020, ten Haaft has been developing highly specialised internet solutions for the motorhome market. Oyster® Connect was launched in spring 2021, followed by two further variants, Oyster® Access and Oyster® EasyNet, at the end of 2023. The purpose of a permanently installed Oyster® Internet system is to make using the internet in your recreational vehicle as natural and easy as it is at home, with the same familiar convenience.
What Makes Oyster® Internet Systems Stand out?
- The external antenna is not obstructed by the shielding walls of the vehicle body.
- The larger size of the LTE antennas (especially with Oyster® Connect and Oyster® Access) ensures much better reception of mobile signals.
- Once connected to the WiFi of the Oyster® internet systems, devices automatically connect to the hotspot.
- The WiFi and internet access are always available, even at night or when you leave the vehicle unattended.
- The above advantages also apply while driving!
- Enjoy uninterrupted reception of web radio, online navigation, and better quality phone calls via WiFi call via the external antenna of the Oyster® internet system while driving.
All the Advantages of Oyster® Internet Systems at a Glance
- Excellent reception performance of all systems thanks to the installation of exterior units (external antennas) on the vehicle roof; this is further enhanced in Oyster® Connect by housing all reception-related components in the exterior unit

- 6 powerful antennas for LTE and external WLAN connections

- Support for the WireGuard™ protocol (trademark of WireGuard LLC): Enables a free, secure VPN connection to compatible routers (e.g. Fritz!Box) – for protected internet traffic in public WiFi networks.
