The HD Birdview camera system provides a perfect 3D panoramic view, showing the vehicle’s position and surrounding objects. This makes it easy to master complicated parking manoeuvres even with bulky vehicles and reduces the risk of dents, scratches and traffic accidents. Four extra-wide-angle cameras at the front, rear and sides of the vehicle capture images of the vehicle’s surroundings and send them to a monitor in the cockpit. The switch box is the core component of this intelligent solution and is used for general control. The system has an RCA connector (A/V) to which playback devices with A/V inputs, such as monitors, navigation devices or moniceivers, can be connected. The mats (1 m x 1 m) required for calibration are not included in the scope of delivery and must be requested when ordering, if necessary. The cable set (item no. 82 224) must be ordered at the same time.
