The Tankguard reliably protects fresh water tanks in motorhomes, caravans and boats from germs, bacteria and biofilm – completely without permanent chemical additives. For this purpose, the ozone generator produces ozone (O₃) directly in the water, which breaks down into oxygen (O₂) again after the reaction.
Ozone acts particularly quickly and effectively, even against chlorine-resistant microorganisms. It is easily installed directly inside the tank with suction cups. The operation can be precisely controlled via the programmable timer. The device only works when it is fully submerged in water and automatically stops when the tank is empty.
With seasonal use and a 90-litre tank, the Tankguard achieves a service life of approximately 7 to 8 years.
