The voltage-dependent isolating relay with a switching capacity of up to 140 A automatically connects the starter and RV batteries as soon as the voltage of the starter battery rises while the engine is running. This ensures that the RV battery is reliably charged. If the voltage drops below 12.8 V, the relay disconnects both batteries again to prevent the starter battery from discharging.
