The Thermacell refill pack R-4 consists of 4 butane gas cartridges and 12 active ingredient pads with the active ingredient PT-19 Eucalyptus Citriodora – sufficient for 48 hours of insect protection. All Thermacell devices use the same refill products. One gas cartridge lasts up to 12 hours, one active ingredient pad up to 4 hours. The gas cartridges and active ingredient pads are shelf-stable and do not need to be used immediately. Unused active ingredient pads are in airtight packaging to maximise shelf life.
