The hinged bike carrier for the Ford Transit from model year 2014 onwards enables secure bicycle transport while providing comfortable access to the rear door. It is attached directly to the door hinges and can be swung sideways up to 90° by releasing two split pins, allowing the rear door to be opened without removing the bicycles or the carrier. The maximum load capacity is 60 kg.
The base carrier can be removed from the vehicle within a few minutes by loosening two screws and pulling out two bolts. The robust construction is suitable for leisure, camping, travel and daily use. The standard loading height is 1.47 m, the low loading height including the lighting bar is 1.14 m.
Not suitable for vehicles with 270° rear door hinges. These can be identified by the fact that the rear doors can be folded completely against the side of the vehicle. Doors with 180° hinges can only be opened up to 90° towards the side wall.
