The Feed Pipe CAP is an external duct and is designed to channel fresh air from outside the vehicle into the combined heater. This supply of fresh air is crucial for effectively supplying the combustion process with the necessary oxygen. The fresh air is channelled directly from the exhaust side of the heater into the flue.
