The LEAB MelfBox is a system for supplying 230 V electricity to vehicles. It has a potential-free switching contact (NO contact) for setting up a start prevention system. Electronics prevent contact erosion. Protection class IP55.
Advantages compared to a CEE socket:
The visual status display provides information on the current system status. This allows you to recognise immediately when plugging in whether the cable is plugged in correctly or whether there is a fault. A fault is signalled directly by a red light. The MelfBox is also visually much smaller than a CEE socket. Due to its design, it cannot open while driving, which would lead to corrosion of the contacts. Tried and tested in rescue and recovery vehicles.
