E-Trailer has developed the E-Load module especially for caravans to determine the bearing load. It sits in a specially supplied jockey wheel that is mounted on the drawbar in place of the old jockey wheel. You only have to enter the distance of the new jockey wheel to the ball coupling and the distance to the axle of the caravan. Based on these parameters and the weight currently on the jockey wheel, the sensor then determines the exact bearing load on the trailer coupling.

With the E-Trailer app and the specially developed sensors for retrofitting to any recreational vehicle, owners of caravans and motorhomes can always keep an eye on the condition of their holiday homes with their smartphone.
The E-Trailer solution consists of three elements: a central base station, the sensor modules for the respective tasks and the E-Trailer app on the smartphone. Only the base station needs to be connected to the 12 V power circuit of the caravan or motorhome. All other modules communicate wirelessly with the E-Connect base station.
To use the E-Track&Trace function and future sensor modules with internet-based remote access, an internet subscription is required, which can be taken out directly in the E-Trailer app at a price starting from 70 euros per year.
