Anchor hooks are sewn into the tent fabric and serve to hold the tensioning ladder straps. That way, the tent can be fixed to the ground, e.g. with pegs. If the existing anchor hooks need to be replaced, it is recommended to have the replacement hooks professionally sewn in by a saddler.
