The Birdview camera system offers perfect all-round visibility, showing the vehicle position and surrounding objects. This means that even bulky vehicles can easily master complicated parking manoeuvres and reduce the risk of dents, scratches and traffic accidents. 4 cameras with extra wide angle on the front, rear and sides of the vehicle provide images of the vehicle's surroundings and send them to a monitor in the cockpit. The switch box is the core component of this intelligent solution and is used for general control. Thanks to an integrated video splitter it is possible to choose between different views: front, sides, rear or 360° bird's eye view. To display the 360° bird's eye view on a monitor, the 4 individual images are combined to form a uniform image. With the handy remote control the selection of the desired view is especially easy. The system without monitor has an RCA (A/V) connector to which playback devices with A/V inputs, such as navigation devices or moniceivers, can be connected. The version including monitor contains a 7-inch AHD LCD monitor.
